The ouroboros symbol of a snake swallowing it's own tail has been in use since ancient Egyptian and Grecian times. It symbolizes eternity and endless return, as well as the unity of time's beginning and end. The oldest known ouroboros appeared on the golden shrine in the tomb of King Tutankhamen in the 123th century BC.

This ring is cast in solid gold and etched with an alternating pattern of snake scales for protection, and barque inspired rolling acanthus leaves representing enduring life for good luck and good health. And the twinkling eyes of the snake can be your choice of Diamond, Ruby, Sapphire or Emerald.
